PERTAPIS is a registered organisation under the Societies Act since 1970. It is an approved charitable organisation under the Charities Act Cap 37 and has been accorded the status of an Institution of Public Character (IPC) by the National Council of Social Services. The principal activity of the association is to engage in self-help projects for the betterment of the community and provide assistance to those in need.

With a wide spectrum of services provided and the rapid changes in the Social Service Sectors environment, PERTAPIS has to respond accordingly to the changing environment to formulate our programmes and services relevant to improve the lives of our beneficiaries.

There are many of those unfortunate people suffering in silence. Our aim is to reach them and help improve their quality of life in line with our vision: "The Best we can be in the Service to the Community"
