PERTAPIS held its first Volunteers’ Appreciation Tea session at
Concorde Hotel on Saturday, 24th April 2010.
PERTAPIS President, Mr Hussaini Abdullah, graced the event as the
Guest-of-Honour.
Bloco Singapura, a Singapore’s Brazilian Samba Percussion Ensemble welcomed GOH and Exco members with a roaring performance. This group sure knows how to ‘wow’ the audience!
A volunteer, Mr Louis Albert and residents from PERTAPIS Senior Citizen Fellowship home are performing an item with drums. The crowd was enchanted and amazed at the energy of the performance!
Special performances from residents of PERTAPIS Centre for Women and Girls & PERTAPIS Children’s Home.
Variasi Performing Arts, a volunteer group, captivates the audience with their graceful moves.
The guests were treated to games, performances & a hearty tea session.
Plagues & certificates were given out in recognition of their volunteer involvement with PERTAPIS.
All smiles! It was great to be able to show our appreciation to the volunteers whom have helped us shaped our organisation into what we are now.
