At PERTAPIS we engage in self-help projects for the betterment of the community's welfare in Singapore.
As an approved charitable organization with the status of an Institution of Public Character (IPC), we aim to reach out and help the community in line with our vision: "The Best we can be in the Service to the Community"
The role of the Executive Committee is to ensure compliance with legal and fiscal requirements and to adhere to basic ethical standards. The Committee maintains its accountability to the organisation’s members including clients and donors. The Executive Committee periodically reviews its objectives as it steers PERTAPIS forward.

PERTAPIS Constitution. Under the constitution, the Executive Committee is elected into office once every two years. Members elect five Senior Executive Members, namely, the President, two Vice Presidents, the Secretary General and Treasurer and eight Committee Members. The elected officer-bearers have the option to co-opt another three male committee members and two lady members into the committee.
